MARVEL'S SPIDER-MAN: MILES MORALES Is Not Coming To PC, Despite Confusing Disclaimer That Alludes To It

Disclaimer has led fans to believe that Insomniac Games' recently released MARVEL's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is coming to PC, but this is definitely not the case, so don't get your hopes up.

MARVEL's Spider-Man: Miles Morales was finally released last week for both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, giving players the chance to swing through New York City as a younger, and less experienced Spider-Man than the one we saw in 2018's ciritically acclaimed MARVEL's Spider-Man.

When the first MARVEL's Spider-Man was announced, some players were disappointed to find out that the game was a PlayStation 4 exclusive title, and that it would not be releasing on other consoles, but this has been the case with other games that did eventually end up being released on other platforms; particularly PC.

Just recently, a confusing disclaimer has led fans to believe that Sony and Insomniac Games could be thinking about porting the recently released MARVEL's Spider-Man: Miles Morales to PC, but this is most definitely not the case, so don't get your hopes up just yet.

This information was first spotted by Twitter user Jared Shuch(@guesobros), who noticed that the Discover category on the PlayStation 5's dashboard has a banner with MARVEL's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and a disclaimer in the bottom that reads "*Not available on other consoles for a limited time. Also available on PC",  making some players confused about the game's exclusivity.

What this is making allusion to, however, is games that do fall under the PlayStation Console Exclusives category, but MARVEL's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is not a console exclusive, it is a PlayStation exclusive; meaning that you can only play it on the PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 4, not on other platforms.

In August, Sony revealed that they were actually open to the idea of porting PlayStation exclusive titles to PC. This is something that has actually already happened with titles like Guerrilla Games' Horizon Zero Dawn and Quantic Dreams' Detroit: Become Human.

While it is possible that more PlayStation Studios-published games end up being released on PC, Sony did state that not every first-party AAA game will be ported to other platforms. Being a bit more realistic, the Spider-Man moniker is likely to be one of those first-party series that will remain a PlayStation exclusive for a long time.

In the latest adventure in the Marvel’s Spider-Man universe, teenager Miles Morales is adjusting to his new home while following in the footsteps of his mentor, Peter Parker, as a new Spider-Man. But when a fierce power struggle threatens to destroy his new home, the aspiring hero realizes that with great power, there must also come great responsibility. To save all of Marvel’s New York, Miles must take up the mantle of Spider-Man and own it.

MARVEL's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is currently available for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
