Sony announced today that Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is officially coming to PC. The 2023 action-adventure blockbuster — and sequel to 2018's Marvel's Spider-Man and 2020's Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales — is slated to arrive on PC on January 30, 2025. It will be available via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
The PC port is being developed and optimized at Nixxels Software in close collaboration with Insomniac Games, PlayStation, and Marvel Games. Fans can expect the usual PC features, including enhanced ray-tracing options and a variety of configurations to improve the overall gameplay and visual performances. Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered, which was brought to PC in 2022 — two years after the PS5 release — featured mouse and keyboard support, adjustable render settings and ray-traced reflections, and more.
“Bringing Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales to a new audience on PC together with Insomniac and Marvel Games has been a great experience for us at Nixxes,” said Julian Huijbregts, Community Manager at Nixxes. “We are excited to continue this collaboration and bring Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 to PC with a suite of enhanced features, including enhanced ray-tracing options, to take full advantage of a variety of setups and configurations. Two editions of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will be available for PC: the Standard Edition and the Digital Deluxe Editions. Both include the complete game plus all the latest updates since the game's launch on PS5. The Digital Deluxe Edition will include some additional bonus cosmetics. Here's what's included:

Building on the foundation of its predecessor, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 features both Peter Parker and Miles Morales as playable characters with different playstyles as Spider-Men. The game also expands on their existing traversal and combat mechanics with new web-based gadgets and suits that can be unlocked by progressing through the game. Like its predecessor, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 was released to universal acclaim from critics with much of the praise directed towards the narrative and character development. The game sits at a 90% on Metacritic. Its critical reception also translated into commercial success, as it sold over 2.5 million units in the first 24 hours of its release. As of April 2024, the game sold over 11 million units.
