Square Enix's highly anticipated

Final Fantasy VII Remake isn't a full remake of the game, since Square Enix has previously revealed that this is the first in a trilogy. This isn't to say that fans shouldn't expect to see some classic moments from the original game, since they are even bringing back some of the fun minigames present

Today, Square Enix has released over 20 in-game screenshots that give us a look at some of the most iconic locations in
Final Fantasy VII like Aerith's Church, Cloud Strife's allies like AVALANCHE and the Turks, pics that feature some combat, fun minigames, and even bike battles.

In Midgar, a city controlled by the mega-conglomerate Shinra Inc., the No. 1 Mako Reactor has been blown up by a rebel group, AVALANCHE. AVALANCHE was secretly formed to wage a rebellion against Shinra Inc., an organisation which is absorbing Mako energy, destroying the natural resources of the planet. Cloud, a former member of Shinra's elite combat force, SOLDIER, was involved with the bombing of the Mako Reactor.
