Final Fantasy VII Rebirth fans who just can't get enough of the game's music will soon be able to own it as Square Enix has announced the release date for the original soundtrack.

The seven-disc soundtrack, which will feature 175 tracks from the critically acclaimed RPG, will debut on April 10. It will be available via direct physical and digital sales.

It's currently available for pre-order along with the limited-run Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Original Soundtrack ~ Special edit version ~, which features a bonus-track CD of mini-game music.

Composed by Mitsuto Suzuki and Masashi Hamauzu of MONOMUSIK Inc. (original music by Nobuo Uematsu), the FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH Official Soundtrack takes a spectacular journey through 175 songs from the game, featuring genres and rhythms as vast and vibrant as the game’s world.

“One of the most thrilling parts of composing for FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH was aligning the music to the backstory, direction and story progression of a moment, establishing a sonic foundation on which the entire development team could build an unforgettable scene," said composer Masashi Hamauzu. "There are sections that dig deeper into music from the original game, and sections that were newly crafted for this title. I hope players will find delight in the musical elements and discoveries to be made.”

Square Enix is giving fans a chance to preview the upcoming album with the release of a five-track preview album that you can now stream on major platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music. The five tracks you can stream now include:

  1. Toward Mt. Nibel
  2. Main Theme of FFVII - Battle Edit
  3. With Heavy Heart - A Seabreeze Stroll
  4. Rufus's Welcoming Ceremony - Seventh, Ten-Hut!
  5. Listen to the Cries of the Planet - Battle Edit

Additionally, the theme "No Promises to keep," sung by platinum-selling artist Loren Allred and composed by the legendary Nobuo Uematsu, will debut on March 20th. You'll be able to stream it on Spotify and Apple Music.

The Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Original Soundtrack is available for pre-order for $67.99. For those interested in the Special edit version with the additional bonus disc filled with mini-game music, it's available for $79.99.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth serves as a sequel to 2020's Final Fantasy VII Remake and is the second game in a planned trilogy that remakes the beloved 1997 PlayStation classic. It was released last month to critical acclaim and met with rave reviews. It sits at a 93 on Metacritic.
