Fans of the
Final Fantasy series have been eagerly anticipating the release of
Final Fantasy VII Remake for a while now. Thankfully, Square Enix has always kept players updated on the state of the ambitious project; considering that the game was announced back in 2015, it is nice to see that the game is finally ready to deliver an experience like no other.
A lot of details about
Final Fantasy VII Remake have been shared by the developers, including the fact that this new game is actually the first episode in what could probably end up becoming a trilogy of sorts. So the soon-to-be-released title will likely leave us with a cliffhanger at the end.
While
Final Fantasy VII Remake is only bringing with it the first half or so of the original game, Square Enix has revealed that a lot more content has been added in order to give players a full video game, so expect to see familiar places but brand new quests, and maybe even a few brand-new locations.
Today, Square Enix has officially released a new video for
Final Fantasy VII Remake, which gives us our first look at the game's opening cinematic; one that has been faithfully recreated in order to look as similar to the opening cinematic in the original game as possible; proving that the game is still being quite faithful to the source material.
