More and more about the next generation of video game consoles is being revealed as we approach their official reveal and release. Xbox's Project Scarlett and the PlayStation 5 are both set to become available in a year from now. Yesterday, we found out what the PlayStation 5's DualShock controller will look like —
find out more on that here.
Today, a reputable news editor by the name of Jason Schreier has taken to social media to tease one of the most tantalising aspects about Sony's next-generation console. Schreier has proven himself to be truthful and accurate time and time again, we're therefore confident that he's on the money this time around.
Schreier replied to another journalist's tweet which detailed their experience with the Google Stadia console.
"No downloads or patches or "copying" is a godsend in this day and age. Nothing like buying a game and instantly playing four seconds later," read that tweet in reference to the Google Stadia. Schreier replied by confirming that the PlayStation 5 will include this feature.
"Not coincidentally, "play right away, download just what you need, no load times" will be some of Sony's top selling points for the PlayStation 5," said
Schreier in a tweet which you can check out below.
