Late last month, it leaked online that
Shadow of the Colossus and
Sonic Forces would be March 2020's free PlayStation Plus games. Shortly thereafter, it was confirmed by Sony PlayStation to be the case —
as you can see here.
If you're unfamiliar with the practice; each and every month, PlayStation introduces a new pair of games that PlayStation Plus subscribers can get their hands on for free (beyond the cost of their initial subscription). For example,
BioShock: The Collection,
The Sims 4, and
Firewall: Zero Hour were all available for free in February.
However, that trio has now been replaced by March 2020's free PlayStation Plus games.
Shadow of the Colossus is a 2018 remaster of the iconic action-adventure game of the same name that released all the way back in 2005. Meanwhile,
Sonic Forces is a platform game that released in November 2017 and was developed by Sonic Team under SEGA.
Both
Shadow of the Colossus and
Sonic Forces will be available for free with a PlayStation Plus subscription until next month rolls around — specifically April 6th. After that, (a new pair of free games will be introduced and)
Shadow of the Colossus and
Sonic Forces will revert back to their usual prices — those being £29.99 and £34.99 respectively.
