Sony have just revealed some new details for this year's E3 presentation, as well as announcing four of the games that they will be prominently focusing on, plus the date and time for the PlayStation showcase.
The showcase will be broadcast on Monday the 11th of June, at 6:00PM Pacific Time, as posted on the official
PlayStation Blog, and will be streamed on YouTube, Twitch, Facebook and through
live.playstation.com.
This year Sony are breaking tradition and offering us a early glimpse of what to expect from the showcase, as well as some of the titles they will be prominently focusing. As per the announcement, PlayStation's Worldwide Studios will be at E3 in full force and offering exclusive looks at
Death Stranding(Kojima Productions),
Ghost of Tsushima (Sucker Punch),
Marvel’s Spider-Man (Insomniac Games), and
The Last of Us Part II (Naughty Dog).
While their exclusive line-up looks promising, this doesn't mean there won't be any announcements by other third-party publishers and developers, promising that they have some stellar announcements in store for the fans, as well as sharing more details in the upcoming days.
Marvel's Spider-Man and
The Last of Us Part II are definitely Sony's heavyhitters, especially given the popularity that Spider-Man has always had, and the amazing reception that the first
The Last of Us got when it came out back in 2013. Some people may find that Sony focusing on four games may sound a bit disappointing but all four of these titles look promising and will definitely deliver the goods. So don't forget to tune in on
Monday the 11th of June at 6:00PM PT for Sony's E3 showcase.
