Since last week, Hideo Kojima has been providing fans with updates on the progress of the final trailer for Death Stranding, and now the acclaimed creator has shared some new details on the teaser, details that suggest new footage is on the horizon.

"The launch trailer is almost done," Kojima stated simply on Twitter, revealing a look at the editing room in the process. Obviously, this update from the writer and director of the Metal Gear series doesn't give us an estimate on when the footage will drop, it does make it clear that it won't be a long wait.

Of course, anxious gamers won't have to wait long for the actual game either, as the highly anticipated title is set to be released exclusively for the PlayStation 4 on November 8, 2019. Along with being touted as a genre-defining game, Death Stranding also boasts an impressive cast that includes the likes of Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelson, Lindsay Wagner, Margaret Qualley and Léa Seydoux.
