During the Oculus Quest 2018 event, Lucasfilm and ILMxLAB announced a brand-new VR title called Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series, which was being written by David S. Goyer and produced by Mark Millar, that would release for the Oculus Quest in 2019.
In May of this year, Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series was also announced to be releasing for the PlayStation VR; promising to give players the most immersive Star Wars experience yet. Unfortunately, however, the developers didn't give us an official release date, nor a proper gameplay trailer.
They did share a small handful of screenshots that showed off the game's graphics. While managing to get players excited, it was still not enough to get everybody completely sold on Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series.
During today's State of Play presentation, Lucasfilm and ILMxLAB took the opportunity to release the first, action-packed gameplay trailer for Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series, which will finally give players a proper idea of what to expect once the game finally becomes available.
On that same note, the trailer also reveals that Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series is just around the corner, as the game will finally become available for the PlayStation VR on Tuesday the 25th of August.
