Ubisoft seems to be taking good care of their player base for the MMORPG The Division. After just giving players their new DLC 'Last Stand', Ubisoft is rolling out update 1.6, an update that brings some pretty big changes to the game.

One of the bing things coming in this update is the opening of a new area on the game's map. The northern part of the PvP and PvE map has made way for three new additional Dark Zone areas, that are described as "especially dire" with "a couple of surprises". These new zones will also expand underground as well as vertically, and are double the entire size of the current Dark Zone area. Because the map is getting so much larger, Ubisoft is adding in a new
insta-travel feature for players to easily jump to other parts of the map.

Another new change that will be made is now players can simply clear a landmark to gain loot items instead of having to physically go and get them. While that makes things easier for you to get loot in that area, landmarks will also start to spawn large waves of far more difficult and combative NPC's. And it's said the NPC's will be far more ferocious in the newly added northern part of the map. So you'll definitely have to be on your P's and Q's to get in, get your stuff, and get out alive.

The update will be free for players on all platforms.
