Microsoft Announces A New Game With Master Chief But HALO: FIRETEAM RAVEN Is Not The HALO You're Looking For

Quite unexpectedly, Microsoft announced Halo: Fireteam Raven right before the start of E3 2018. The fact that we're going to get a new game with the Master Chief is undoubtedly good news, but in case you think this is Halo 6 or a major title in the series, it's the right time to cool your jets, as Fireteam Raven is a cooperative arcade shooting game made by arcade legends Raw Thrills and Play Mechanix.

This Halo is set in the timeframe of Halo: Combat Evolved giving you an opportunity to hot-drop feet right into the boots of Fireteam Raven, a group of elite Orbital Drop Shock Troopers (known as ODST) on the surface of Alpha Halo where "the Master Chief and the rest of the UNSC as they try desperately to prevent the alien Covenant alliance from taking control of the ancient superweapon".

Halo: Fireteam Raven is housed in a massive coin-operated arcade machine with a 130-inch, 4k screen experience and four turret-mounted, multipurpose machine guns which allow four players to fight Covenant troops, spacecraft, and vehicles, and save the galaxy in frenetic, explosive combat. Halo: Fireteam Raven's cabins will be available this summer at selected Dave & Buster’s locations only in the United States and Canada, before rolling out to more locations in the Fall. Take a look:
