Gears 5 has gone gold. That means main development on the game has completed and the disc has been sent to manufacturing. Of course, these days games are supported with regular patches and post-launch content so The Coalition will probably still remain busy; but, it's still a major milestone for the game.

Ahead of
Gears 5's release on September 5, Microsoft and The Coalition have given fans something to look forward to
by releasing the full Achievement list. There are a total of 71 achievements worth 1,000 Gamerscore points spanning the various game modes, including Campaign, Escape, Versus, Horde, Map Builder, and more.

For die-hard fans of the franchise, Microsoft has also revealed a Gears 5 Xbox One X LImited Edition bundle featuring the iconic Crimson Omen and matching metallic-looking controller. The bundle retails for $499.99 and can be found on the
Microsoft Store,
Amazon, and
Best Buy. There are also Gears 5-themed accessories available separately.
Gears 5 will be available for Xbox One on September 6.
