If you pre-ordered
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare for the PlayStation 4, you can be playing it right now! The early access portion of the game's beta period is now live.
Wherever you pre-ordered your copy of the upcoming first-person shooter from, you should have been e-mailed a code which you can input into the
"redeem codes" section of the PlayStation Store in order to download the beta. Despite it just being an early example of what
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be, the beta alone takes up over 40 gigabytes of storage.
Those who pre-ordered the game on the PlayStation 4 will be the only people who have access to the beta for two days — specifically the 12th and 13th. From the 14th to the 16th, any and all PlayStation 4 users are welcome to take part regardless of whether they've pre-ordered the game. All of these beta events will presumably kick off at 10am PT as that's when the currently active one did.
Next weekend will also include a beta event which will allow platforms other than the PlayStation 4 to take part. Again, the first couple of days will only allow those who have pre-ordered
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare to participated — the 19th and 20th. From the 21st to the 23rd, everybody has access to play regardless of pre-order status. That's including players of the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 25th, 2019.
