Another month, another Game Informer cover art has been released, this time putting the spotlight on
Control, Remedy Entertainment's next major release. Given that the renowned Finnish studio gave us the first two
Max Payne games
, Alan Wake, and
Quantum Break, you should definitely keep an eye on their new project, especially if you're a fan of story-driven titles and/or the metroidvania genre.
In
Control, you will take on the role of Jesse Faden, the director of the Federal Bureau of Control, which basically is a clandestine government agency tasked with studying and containing supernatural phenomena. As Jesse, you have to find out what's happening in the agency's headquarters, known as the Oldest House, a forgotten building that features gates to alternate time-lines and dimensions.
The beautiful cover art is not the only new thing the Game Informer crew has recently released, as a never-before-seen interview with Game Director Mikael Kasurinnen has also been shared online, giving us a chance to learn much more about the upcoming gravity bending shooter and its core mechanics.
Be sure to take a look at the new "rapid-fire" interview and Game Informer’s April cover down below:
After a secretive agency in New York is invaded by an otherworldly threat, you become the new Director struggling to regain Control. This supernatural third-person action-adventure game will challenge you to master a combination of supernatural abilities, modifiable loadouts and reactive environments, while fighting through a deep and unpredictable world.
Control is coming to PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One in 2019.
