Back in February of this year, independent developer SuperScarySnakes announced that they were working on a 2D action shooter game called
Black Future '88 for the Nintendo Switch and Steam.
The developer did not, however, exactly when Black Future '88 was going to be releasing, although they did reveal that it would be at some point in 2019.
Well, the wait is now finally over, as SuperScarySnakes'
Black Future '88 has finally become available for the Nintendo Switch and Steam today; bringing with it some classic roguelike 2D action that will see players fighting enemies in a beautifully realised Synth-punk open world.
As
Black Future '88 becomes available today, the developer has also shared an action-packed trailer that goes over some of the features that players should expect to find within the game, so be sure to check it out down below and let us know what you think about it.
Shoot, slash, dash and upgrade yourself to survive the endless waves of deadly traps, homicidal AI, crazed junkies and colossal Wardens standing in your way in a stylish alternative version of 1988.
Black Future '88 is available exclusively for the Nintendo Switch today.
