Yacht Club Games had been teasing a brand-new game for a while, and today they have fully revealed this to be
Cyber Shadow; a Ninja action-adventure game that seems to borrow a lot from the
Ninja Gaiden series.
Cyber Shadow, however, is not being developed by Yacht Club Games — this time serving as the game's publisher — but by Mechanical Head Studios(Aarne “MekaSkull” Hunziker), who has done a great job at keeping the elements that made the Ninja Gaiden series a household name, but adding new gameplay mechanics that make the game slightly faster.
As revealed by Yacht Club Games, this project has been developed over the course of ten years and they have been closely monitoring its development; promising that the game will be the quintessential Ninja Action game.
Alongside the announcement, we got a fantastic, and action-packed trailer for
Cyber Shadow, but we didn't get an official release date so we will still have to keep waiting for any future announcements about the game.
Take a look:
In Cyber-Shadow, the world has been taken over by synthetic lifeforms. A desperate plea for help sets Shadow on a journey to uncover what started the path to perpetual ruin. Slash through the techno hordes, leap past traps, and nimbly navigate the ruins of Mekacity.
Cyber Shadow will be available for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC soon.
