GRIS is an artsy platformer that released in December of 2018 and was developed by Spanish developer Nomada Studio. Upon release, the game received a lot of praise from btoh critics and general audiences alike; eventually leading to GRIS winning awards for Art Direction, Games for Impact, and Indie Debut at 2019 The Game Awards.
Initially, GRIS was only released on the Nintendo Switch and PC(Steam), and now players can play this phenomenal game on the PlayStation 4, macOS, Microsoft Windows and even iOS devices.
Today Nomada Studio has proudly announced that their critically acclaimed GRIS has now sold over a very impressive 1 million copies; taking some time to thank players who have supported them over the years, as well as Devolver Digital for helping them publish the game.
The developer has yet to reveal exactly how many copies of the game have been sold, and which platform GRIS has sold the most copies on. Regardless, this is great news for the studio, and they deserve all of the praise the game has been getting — as it is, most definitely, a game that every player should experience, at the very least, once.
