Tonics Are Back In This New Trailer For YOOKA-LAYLEE AND THE IMPOSSIBLE LAIR

Playtonic has released a new trailer for Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair, letting everyone know that tonics are back; official release date for the game has also been revealed.

Today we have good news for fans of Playtonic's Yooka-Laylee series, as the developer has finally confirmed that Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair will be releasing for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Steam on the 8th of October.

The other good news is that Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair will be bringing back Tonics, which are items that allow  players to dramatically change the game's graphics and even enhance the characters' abilities; much like in the original Yooka-Laylee.

With the release date for Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair, Playtonic also released a new gameplay trailer gives us a look at some of the new Tonics in action; showing off a Game Boy-esque filter for the game, and some crazy Chameleon colors for the characters.

Playtonic has also revealed that pllayers who pre-order the game will get four exclusive Tonics that make some visible changes to the characters' appearances.
