During today's Indie World presentation hosted by Nintendo, independent developer House House shared some great news for fans of the critically acclaimed, and ridiculously fun Untitled Goose Game, revealing that the game will be getting a co-op multiplayer mode.
As per the announcement, Untitled Goose Game will be getting this co-op multiplayer mode on Wednesday the 23rd of September, and the best news is that this new mode will be added via a free update, so players will not have to pay extra to enjoy this game with their friends.
The developer also reveals that the new co-op multiplayer mode will also be bringing with it a new type of goose with its own unique honk, although they mention that the honk is still pretty terrible. To be fair, that's exactly what players need in order to annoy the unfortunate townspeople.
House House also took the opportunity to revel that Untitled Goose Game will be releasing on Steam and itch.io on the very same day this new co-op multiplayer mode becomes available; with the all-new multiplayer mode included, of course.
Untitled Goose Game was originally released for the Nintendo Switch and the Epic Games Store, but it was later ported to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. With the Steam and itch.io versions releasing next month, there are no excuses for players to get their hands on this phenomenal game.

Untitled Goose Game is a slapstick-stealth-sandbox, where you are a goose let loose on an unsuspecting village. Make your way around town, from peoples' back gardens to the high street shops to the village green, setting up pranks, stealing hats, honking a lot, and generally ruining everyone’s day.
Untitled Goose Game is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC(Epic); Steam and itch.io version releases on Wednesday the 23rd of September.
