Netmarble is known for being a mobile game developer, but
Magic: ManaStrike marks the first occassion they have attempted to create a
Magic the Gathering title - or any game for Wizards of the Coast. The mobile combat game brings to life spells inspired by the characters and cards in
Magic the Gathering in a new and exciting way.
It wasn't too long ago that the game was released worldwide as that only happened last month, but Netmarble has already decided to move forward with the first big update to their mobile title. New Planeswalkers join the fight as the pirate minotaur Angrath and Koth of the Hammer have now become available to players alongside a bevy of other new cards and enhancements.
In addition to these new Planeswalkers the new cards that are available to collect include Sylvan Advocate for the Green deck, Carrion Crow for Black users, Hightide Hermit for Blue, Emeria Angel for those who utilize White cards, and the Fire Shrine Keeper who's name gives away that it is a Red card. Friend features have also been updated including but not limited to a "Friends Match" and searching by players via nickname.
What do you guys think of this update to Netmarble's
Magic: Manastrike? Will you be checking it out? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below!
Magic: Mana Strike is a mobile combat game that brings spells inspired by Magic: The Gathering's cards and characters to life in a new genre. After losing a war with the Planeswalkers, Magic: The Gathering's most powerful villain Nicol Bolas creates a parallel universe to find the Planeswalkers' weaknesses.
