Released in September of last year on iOS and Android devices, Mario Kart Tour has become quite the populr title for casual players who simply enjoy playing a good game in their free time. The game being a "free to start" title has definitely helped it gain some traction, but gameplay has also been a huge part of its success.
Mario Kart Tour does not require players to spend crazy amounts of money in order to enjoy the game, although those who do decide to purchase in-game items are handsomely rewarded; well, only sometimes, but that's besides the point.
The developers have also managed to keep players invested in Mario Kart Tour, as they have been adding new characters, tracks, and vehicle parts pretty much since the game was released; something that works particularly well when the devs decide to bring back classic stages from previous titles in the Mario Kart series.
The recently announced Wild West Tour update for Mario Kart Tour is the perfect example, as it will be adding Mario Kart 64's classic Kalimari Deser track, and will also be giving players Cowboy Wario and Nabbit as playable characters. The best news is that the upadte is available right now.
It is also worth mentioning that Mario Kart Tour already has a proper Landscape Mode that allows players to play the game holding their mobile device horizontally; an update that shouldn't have taken almost a year to be added, but that is finally here to make the game even more enjoyable.
