MARVEL Battle Lines isn't the only Marvel mobile game receiving an update in celebration of this week's theatrical release of Avengers: Endgame. D3 Go! is launching multiple in-game events in Marvel Puzzle Quest over the course of the next week inspired by the upcoming blockbuster.

Kicking off today is an event called Balancing Act, which is clearly inspired by the "snap" event at the end of Avengers: Infinity War that erased half the world's population. In this PvP event, players will join forces with a powered-up Thanos (Endgame variation) and compete against others to unlock rewards. Interestingly, Thanos, himself, is now available as one of these rewards, although  you can add him to your ranks permanently through the Thanos & Foes vault.

Arriving tomorrow, April 22, is another Avengers: Endgame-themed event, Cinema Showdowns. In this special 10-day event, players will join forces with the Avengers and embark on new missions inspired by some of the MCU's most spectacular movie showdowns. Completing these events will earn points that can help you earn in-game rewards and Avengers character cards such as Captain Mavel and Gamora. Hopefully, none of these showdowns spoil anything from Avengers: Endgame.

On April 25, one day before Avengers: Endgame hits theaters, the Infinite Pursuit event will being. In this event, you will have to join forces with the Avengers to stop Thanos from completing the Infinity Gauntlet.

As for Thanos, he arrives in Marvel Puzzle Quest, equipped with his now-completed Infinity Gauntlet. This powerful 4-Star villain is a counter the S.H.I.E.L.D.'s 4-Star rarities, including Nick Fury (Director of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Moon Knight (Marc Spector) , and Carnage (Cletus Kasady). Thanos does most damage against Heroes and Special Tile users. Check out his abilities below:

Vicious Determination: A mid-cost BLack power that deals 911 damage to the target, then deals an additional 486 to all enemy Heroes.

Inescapable Destiny: A passive Blue power, Thanos watches his enemies' strikes, pitying their futile attempts to stop his plans. At the start of the turn, if there are 3 or more enemy Strike, Attack, or Protect tiles on the board, remove 1 of them and convert 3 basic tiles to Green.

Mad Titan's Mercy: A high-cost Green power, Thanos balances the universe around him as he unleashes the power of the Infinity Gauntlet. This ability destroys 32 random tiles, dealing 1,576 damage for each special tile destroyed (up to a max of 9,448 additional damage). (Destroyed tiles do not generate AP.)

Thanos (Endgame) is available at increased odds for a special limited time, and as a reward for certain in-game events.

Marvel Puzzle Quest is a free-to-play mobile match-three puzzle game, available for iOS and Android devices. Avengers: Endgame arrives in theaters on April 26.
