MARVEL Contest of Champions has enjoyed over five years of heroes and villains ducking it out in the Battlerealm. But its latest fighter joining the roster was literally made to join the contest.

The martial arts master Shang-Chi is finally joining the roster with his most recent costume found in the comics. Just in time for the new film, the hero will offer some of his best skills and attributes to take on the likes of Thanos, Iron Fist and many more.

With the new fighter, there is also a brand new event called the Ten Rings Tournament. By collecting the ten rings, players can access special Master Class Solo Objectives that open new paths to new rewards.

Will you be playing as Shang-Chi? We would love to hear your thoughts in the comments, and don't forget to check out the new special moves video and motion comic below!

From a young age, Shang-Chi went through rigorous martial arts training with his father, Zheng Zu. After discovering he was being shaped into a lethal assassin, he instead took to Super Hero work. As the Master of Kung Fu, Shang-Chi has complete control over his inner energy, Chi. With a vast knowledge of Wushu fighting styles, Shang-Chi can wield a variety of weapons but he excels in bare-handed combat.

MARVEL Contest of Champions is available now on the App Store and Google Play.
