The October update for Marvel Future Fight has arrived. And seeing as how we're in the midst of spooky season, the theme of Marvel Studios' What If... Zombies?! couldn't be more perfect.
This month's update packs a ton of new content into the free-to-play mobile action RPG, including a new playable hero character, four new uniforms inspired by the Zombies episode of the What If...? animated series, and a Zombie Survival mode.
General Okoye of Wakanda has joined Marvel Future Fight as a Tier-3 Hero. A brave warrior and master of spearmanship, Okoye is a Speed-type character in the game.
Four new Uniforms have also been added in celebration of the Marvel Studios' What If... Zombies?!. They are Captain America, Falcon, Doctor Strange, and Wong — all in their zombified forms from the episode. The four new Uniforms are on sale for 40% off — 1,050 crystals — during the October Update Celebration Event.
Wong has also received a Tier-4 Advancement. The Tier-4 Striker Skill snares enemies for one second and removes Active Buff from the Target. When applied to himself, it increases all Basic Attacks by +60% for seven seconds and Physical Damage 400% of Physical Attack. Additionally, through the update, M'Baku and Killmonger will require Potential Awakening & Transcendence!
And finally, in terms of new content, players can now take on Zombie Survival, a new game mode where Agents must survive against the rushing zombie horde for a set amount of time.
The goal of Zombie Survival is to survive and earn points by defeating zombies within a set time. In order to clear the Level, heroes must defeat the boss, and at least one hero has to survive until the given time runs out.
In order to participate in the content, you must have cleared World Boss Legend Knull and own five or more Tier-3 & Potential Transcended heroes with level 70. Zombie Survival will initially open up to Level 30, but once you clear Level 30, up to Level 60 will be unlocked.
"In the 9-Year Anniversary Development Team Letter of Appreciation, we informed you that we were preparing a new Multiplayer Content with the concept of blocking waves of enemies together," NetEase explained. "However, to provide a more stable service, the concept was changed to individual competitive content as a result of the review."
