As is typically the case when Marvel releases a new film, the associated Marvel mobile games receive updates inspired by said film. The latest is
Captain Marvel, which flies into theaters next month. Ahead of its release, Netmarble's action-RPG
MARVEL Future Fight has been updated with content inspired by the upcoming blockbuster which sees Brie Larson bring the titular Captain Marvel, aka Carol Danvers, to the big screen.
Before fans get to see the galaxy's mightiest heroes rise on the big screen,
MARVEL Future Fight will give them a sneak peek at some of the new character designs.
Included in the update are three new playable characters, four new costume designs, and a Legendary Battle theme all inspired by the
Captain Marvel movie. Among the new playable characters are Nick Fury (Modern) and two Kree heroes, Minn-Erva (Modern) and Korath (
Captain Marvel). Additionally, Captain Marvel, Ronan, Minn-Erva, and Nick Fury have also received new uniforms based on the upcoming movie.
Further celebrating the highly anticipated film is the new Captain Marvel Legendary Battle theme which includes "three new stages consisting of backgrounds and characters from the movie." In each stage, you can only use a specific character. You'll also get better rewards depending on the level, rank, and mastery of your character, along with the rank of the uniform required. Playing this mode can unlock the six-star Captain Marvel.
Fly higher, further, faster with the new update for MARVEL Future Fight, featuring epic battles inspired by Marvel's Captain Marvel.
Other features not necessarily specific to Captain Marvel are improvements to the Hero Codex, a new Special Mission Quest Pack and CTPS, and other game improvements and bug fixes. Check out the
game's official forums for the full patch notes.
Captain Marvel is the latest themed event for
MARVEL Future Fight, following
last month's Fantastic Four-themed update.
