MARVEL CONTEST OF CHAMPIONS: The Hacksmith Creates The Civil Warrior's Arc Reactor Shield

 Marvel Contest of Champions is a mobile fighting game that has made its name by achieving the impossible. From having heroes and villains fighting against one another, to even melding the marvel multiverse so that characters who may never meet can exchange blows; nothing is outside of the realm of possibility for the creators over at Kabam.

One of the unique things about the game is the addition of entirely original characters that can only be found in the app. These characters may have never been in a comic book, but that doesn't mean that the attention to detail in design and story lacks the quality that can only be given in the mighty Marvel manner. 

One such character created for the game is the Civil Warrior. Not much is known about the character's backstory aside from legend; however, if the rumors are true than an armor-clad, Steve Rogers continues to avenge his fallen friend with a new set of armor and an Arc Reactor shield. A shield that has caught the eye of Youtube legend James Hobson, a.k.a The Hacksmith!

In a recent video, Hobson decided to bring the Civil Warrior's shield to life with explosive results. The Hacksmith was able to create a nearly indestructible version of Cap's shield while also having it emit a blue laser that cooked anything in its path! There are many rumors about the origin of the mysterious Civil Warrior… legend says he is a Captain America from an alternate Earth ravaged by the Civil War between his own army and Iron Man’s forces. In that world, the two heroes mortally wounded each other in the final battle of the war; Steve survived, but Tony didn’t. Riddled with guilt for the battle’s destruction and the death of his former ally at his own hands, he assumed the mantle of the Civil Warrior. Adding Tony’s ARC technology to his Captain America gear, he vowed to use his friend’s legacy to stop this senseless conflict from ever happening again.
