POKÉMON GO: Prepare To "Ivestigate Illusions" With Abra During Next Month's Community Day Event

Niantic has been trying out a lot of experiments this year in their mobile game Pokémon Go. This is to say that instead of simply implementing every idea they have, they are now trying them out before putting them in full time. This has helped the team to introduce a lot more events and features to the game than before as they aren't all full time but still overlap with one another leaving players to reap all of the benefits.

Some of these experiments have included the Mystery Bonus Hour, the Pokémon Spotlight Hour, and even the City Explorer's Pass for the upcoming Safari Zone Philadelphia Event. One of the implementations that has received the best response so far, however, was the decision to allow players to vote for the Pokémon that would be featured during the February Community Day Event. For the first time fans were given some say as to who would be featured - even if it was only limited to four choices.

That is why it comes as such a big surprise that this feature isn't being implemented for the upcoming March Community Day Event which is set to take place on March 15th. Thanks to dataminers we now know that the next day will feature Abra, as text has been found within the game that confirms so.

While this is not an official confirmation from Niantic, dataminers always release text from the game ahead of time which winds up being true, so don't be surprised to see an official announcement from the developer within the next few days.

Are you excited that Abra is being celebrated, or would you prefer the chance to vote again? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
