A couple of weeks ago, we found out that Niantic had finally announced that Triainer Battles were coming to
Pokémon Go. The free-to-play mobile game became a massive success upon releasing in July of 2016, but fans were still somewhat disappointed because they could only catch Pokémon, not fight other players.
After a very long two and a half years since the launch of Niantic's Pokémon GO, fans are finally getting their wish granted as today Trainer Battles have officially become a reality for Pokémon enthusiasts.
The official Pokémon YouTube channel has just released a new live-action trailer for
Pokémon GO, in order to let all of their fans know that they can now start challenging other players. The trailer shows a bunch of Pokémon getting ready to battle their opponents, including the recently revealed Melmetal; Meltan's intimidating evolution.
