Detective Pikachu will be officially making its way into theatres in just over a week's time. The movie will see the beloved Pokemon franchise brought into the realm of live-action. Its premise sees the titular Pokemon teaming up with, his human companion, Tim Goodman in order to solve a personal mystery. Ryan Reynolds will be playing Pikachu himself, while Justice Smith will be playing Tim.
A new trailer for the highly-anticipated film was recently released by the
Warner Bros. Pictures YouTube channel. This trailer is intriguingly titled:
"Destiny" It shines the spotlight on Psyduck and his own human companion, Lucy, who will be played by Kathryn Newton (who you can see in the below thumbnail). The trailer also features a bunch of action that we've seen previously in other promos.
