Detective Pikachu is set to be released just a matter of weeks after Avengers: Endgame but everything we've seen so far from the first live-action Pokemon movie points to the chances of it being a box office success being very high indeed.

In this latest TV spot form the movie, we get to see a lot of new footage with the highlights being a first look at Lickitung and a stunning shot of Bulbasaur. The titular detective's meeting with Mr. Jinx is also highlighted and that definitely looks like it's going to be a standout sequence in this Pokemon movie.

For now, though, this is a great tease of what's to come and while it's still strange to hear Deadpool's (well, Ryan Reynolds') voice coming out of Pikachu's mouth, it does seem like a pretty solid casting decision for this version of the Pokemon.
