The Sonic the Hedgehog live-action movie was a huge success when it hit theatres all around the world. The movie was chamring, properly depicted Sega's iconic character, and it was just a fun ride from beginning to end; something that would've been difficult to believe a few months prior.
In case you have been living under a rock for the past year, when Paramount Pictures released the very first trailer for the Sonic the Hedgehog movie, they film got a lot of flak because of the titular character's brand-new design — which didn't bode well with long-time fans of the Sonic the Hedgehog series.
Within the same day the trailer was released, Director Jeff Fowler addressed fan concerns and revealed that Sonic's design would be completely changed to one that actually looks more like the source material; once the new design was revealed, fans were actually willing to give the movie a chance.
Recently, Paramount has officially released a new clip for the Sonic the Hedgehog movie, ahead of tomorrow's digital release, that gives us a look at a deleted scene that sees Baby Sonic and Longclaw arriving on Earth; what's interesting is that this deleted scene actually features Baby Sonic's design before the character was redesigned.
