Back when the first trailer for the Sonic the Hedgehog movie released, fans were quick to demand that Paramount Pictures redesign the titular character. After the trailer earned over half a million dislikes on YouTube, the film's director took to social media to announce that they would delay Sonic the Hedgehog in order to rework the character design.

Last month, a couple of leaked images revealed our first look at this redesign — you can check those out here. After that, a photo of a theatre standee surfaced online and all but confirmed that the design was, in fact, legitimate. Similarly, an image of a theatre standee has surfaced online yet again.

It's a different one, this time allowing us to see Sonic from a more head-on angle. Once again, the standee is consistent with the aforementioned leaked images. Some of the most recognisable features are Sonic's running shoes, gloves, and the way his snout continues up to in between his eyes. As well, we can see that Jim Carrey's Dr. Robonik features on this standee.
