Last month saw the unveiling of the design of Sonic The Hedgehog in Paramount Pictures' upcoming movie revealed to the world. It wasn't beloved to say the least. Many reworkings of the design have popped-up since then - made by worried fans.

However, Instagram artist William Gray (@willgray_art) has beaten Paramount to the punch - uploading his take on what the villainous Dr. Eggman/Robotnik would look like in live-action before any inkling of the design is shown off by Paramount.

Check out the fan-art below:

Jim Carrey is attached to the role and you can totally see his likeness in the below fan-art. He's sporting his trademarked glasses, moustache, and jacket. All in all, the design is more realistic than the one of the games and cartoons, but is still wholly recognisable. Not to mention, it seems perfectly inkeeping with the tone of the upcoming film - if you weren't the wiser, you might even think this design was official.

What do you think of the fan-art? Are you looking forward to the Sonic The Hedgehog movie?

Sonic The Hedgehog is set to speed into theatres on November 9th, 2019.
