Ace Combat has been around since 1992, making its debut in arcade cabinets and later being released on the PlayStation. Over the years, the series has seen quite a few sequels and the latest project was announced back in 2015.
Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown has been a very secretive project, being announced in December of 2015 and going silent for a while to the point fans thought the game may have been cancelled. Luckily, new information has surfaced and the project is alive and well. Not only that but
during this year's E3 we finally got a new look at the game; which looks, simply put, outstanding. The game was not given an official release date but fans will me pleased to know that the game is now officially coming out on the
1st of February in 2019.
Today, Bandai Namco has released a new gameplay video for
Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown that was shown at this year's Gamescom. In it, we get glimpses of the story, some classic ace combat aerial combat, and those brilliant photorealistic graphics that will make for an even more immersive experience.

Ready to take to the skies once more? Set on the Usean continent, Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown’s story revolves around the Second-Continental War which takes place in the year 2019. Join the Osean Air Defense Force and get involved in conflicts that cannot simply be divided into good against evil.
Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown will be available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on the 1st of February in 2019.
