Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is an action-adventure developed by CyberConnect2 that is based on Akira Toriyama's long-running, critically acclaimed, and beloved Dragon Ball Z series, and the game actually brims with the same charm Toriyama's series does.
The developers at CyberConnect2 really did manage to capture all of the series' classic charm, those over the top fights, and were even able to make the music sound almost exactly like the series' soundtrack from the original anime. On top of that, they have announced additional content for players to keep coming back to Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot recently got part 1 of the "A New Power Awakens" DLC, so the developers still have more surprises to come in the coming months. In fact, today they have revealed that a brand-new vehicle will be added quite soon to the game; one that fans of the series will immediately recognise.
As just revealed by Bandai Namco, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will be getting Tao Pai Pai's pillar as a new mode of transport at some point this Spring. Unfortunately, this new vehicle will only be available for Ultimate Edition owners.
Bandai Namco also reveals that Ultimate Edition owners will have to download Tao Pai Pai's pillar manually from their console's respective online store; Steam players will get it automatically, though.
Relive the story of Goku in DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT! Beyond the epic battles, experience life in the DRAGON BALL Z world as you fight, fish, eat, and train with Goku.
