Techland announced, during Microsoft's E3 2019 presentation, that their upcoming sequel to Dying Light will release in Spring of 2020. An exciting cinematic trailer debuted during the conference, it focuses on the game's new protagonist and also shows off a bit of parkour gameplay.

Aiden is the hero and player-character of Dying Light 2. He must parkour and battle his way through a world rife with infection. At the very end of the trailer, Aiden dramatically reveals that he himself is infected. It'll be interesting to see how this story decision plays out during what will no doubt be an awesome narrative.

Dying Light 2 is powered by Techland's new C-Engine. Just like its predecessor, the sequel is an open-world, action-adventure, role-playing game.
