Dying Light 2 might be right around the corner but that doesn't mean Techland have given up on its predecessor. The developers have supported
Dying Light with new content and updates since it launched back in 2015. Similarly, they recently confirmed that they will support
Dying Light 2 for at least four years after it launches in Spring —
find out more on that here.
Speaking of games that have lived on for ages after their launch;
Left 4 Dead 2 initially debuted all the way back in 2009 and Techland has just announced that they're putting together an event that will crossover their popular zombie game with that of Valve.
Techland released a new piece of promotional artwork for
"Dying Light X Left 4 Dead 2" via social media but haven't yet revealed exactly what the crossover will entail. Will there be new characters, weapons, explorable environments, or something else? At the moment, we can only speculate. Nonetheless, it's exciting to see the beloved 2009 zombie game revived in such a way.

Dying Light 2 is set to release for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in Spring 2020.
