It looks like Square Enix’s E3 2019 livestream will be way more entertaining than last year's edition of the show (with the hilariously incompetent
Quiet Man being its highlight for all the wrong reasons) – as the Japanese company’s upcoming showcase will feature not only the highly anticipated
Marvel's Avengers and the long-awaited reimagination of
Final Fantasy VII, but also Techland's
Dying Light 2!
The Polish company has officially announced that Square Enix will publish
Dying Light in the Americas – as Techland has acquired the rights to the
Dying Light IP from Warner Bros. – the original's worldwide distributor. Given that the first acclaimed video game has sold well over 16 million units since its launch in January 2015, it's obvious that Square Enix and Techland have high expectations for the sequel.
Considering that the exact release date of
Dying Light 2 is still a major mystery (but we do know that the first-person title will launch at some point in 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC), the E3 will be a truly fantastic opportunity to reveal when to expect the game's (hopefully successful) debut.
As a reminder, Square Enix's E3 2019 press conference will be held on Monday, June 10, at 6pm PT.
