The recently released Middle-earth: Shadow of War will receive five free content updates before the end of 2017. This is in addition to the content arriving as part of the paid Expansion Pass.
The first three updates — Endless Siege, Rebellion, and Enhanced Photo Mode — are set to arrive on November 21st. Enhanced Photo Mode will allow you to capture screenshots of your battles and apply new filters, frames, and textures to create the perfect shot. Online Fight Pits, a new mode that allows you to pit your Orc followers against those of another player, will be released on December 5th. Lastly, a new Brutal Difficulty mode will be added on December 12th that's supposedly more challenging than Nemesis with no last chances.
In addition to these free updates, Middle-earth: Shadow of War is scheduled to receive two paid DLC packs. Slaughter Tribe will release on November 21st, while Outlaw Tribe is set for December 12th. These expansions will introduce new tribes, fortresses, missions, legendary gear sets, upgrade challenges and conquest activities. Both expansions will be available for $15 or as part of the $40 Expansion Pass (which includes two more expansions set for 2018).
Middle-earth: Shadow of War will get even more content in the new year, including two additional paid expansions — Blade of Galadriel and Desolation of Mordor — as well as additional free content that has yet to be announced.
