Earlier in May of this year, fans of the Mafia series by 2K Games were ecstatic to see the official Mafia Twitter account breaking a 2-year silence, which successfully got players talking talk about the possibility of a comeback with a mere to tweets that read "Power" and "Family".
Eventually 2K Games revealed that they were working on Mafia: Trilogy, which included slightly enhanced versions of Mafia II and Mafia III, as well as a fully fledged remake of the original Mafia that released all the way back in 2002.
Mafia: Definitive Edition isn't just a better-looking version of the 2002 game, since the developers have also added new content to make things feel fresh for those who have already had the chance to play the original Mafia.
Unfortunately, only Mafia II and Mafia III became available a week after the Mafia: Trilogy announcement was made, which is also before Mafia: Definitive Edition — for some reason that most players still can't make sense of — with the remake being scheduled for a 28th of August release.
Today 2K Games has surprised fans of the Mafia series with an official trailer for Mafia: Definitive Edition, which shows off how great everything looks in this remake of the original Mafia, and also introducing newcomers to Mafia series protagonist Tommy Angelo.
As a friendly reminder, those who have already purchased Mafia: Trilogy will only have to wait until the 28th of August for the game to unlock, but Mafia: Definitive Edition can also be pre-ordered separately from 2K Games' official website — which you can easily visit by clicking right here.
