Marvel's Avengers players have been waiting on Marvel's most iconic and popular superhero showing up in-game for a helluva long time — over a year now. Finally, the times they are a-changin'. Officially announced at the beginning of this month, Spider-Man will be swinging into Marvel's Avengers on November 30th with a new in-game event.
Similarly, it seems Spider-Man will finally be coming to the massive multiplayer battle royale that is Fortnite with Chapter 3 which is set to kick off next month — find out more on that here.
The character's debut was revealed with an action-packed cinematic trailer and sparing lore information has been released since then along with glimpses at some alternate skins. But we were yet to actually see gameplay of the wall-crawler until now! Thankfully, IGN has hooked us up with some exciting footage.
There's webshooter projectiles, melee fisticuffs, and traversal via web-swinging. It's about what you'd expect and quite similar to Insomniac Games' handling of the character, at that. Check it out for yourself below:
