Marvel's Avengers players have been waiting on Marvel's most iconic and popular superhero showing up in-game for a helluva long time — over a year now. Finally, the times they are a-changin'. Officially announced at the beginning of this month, Spider-Man will be swinging into Marvel's Avengers on November 30th with a new in-game event.

Similarly, it seems Spider-Man will finally be coming to the massive multiplayer battle royale that is Fortnite with Chapter 3 which is set to kick off next month — find out more on that here.

The character's debut was revealed with an action-packed cinematic trailer and sparing lore information has been released since then along with glimpses at some alternate skins. But we were yet to actually see gameplay of the wall-crawler until now! Thankfully, IGN has hooked us up with some exciting footage.

There's webshooter projectiles, melee fisticuffs, and traversal via web-swinging. It's about what you'd expect and quite similar to Insomniac Games' handling of the character, at that. Check it out for yourself below:

In other Marvel's Avengers news, somebody recently took it upon themselves to calculate just how much real money you would have to spend in order to unlock every single cosmetic skin in the game — find out more on that here.
