Fortnite Chapter 3, at least based on the plethora of leaks, will be kicking off on December 7th with Chapter 2 concluding on the 4th. That is, according to reputable leaker and ShiinaBR and HYPEX who was just proven correct in regards to the new sliding mechanic that's coming to the massive multiplayer battle royale soon — find out more on that here.
Following the recent release of the brand new official trailer for upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe entry Spider-Man: No Way Home, the former of the aforementioned leakers took to Twitter to tease that Spider-Man himself will be swinging into Fortnite in the game's next season. This lines up with other leakers, including Fortnite Intel over on Twitter who claims the same.
Interestingly, ShiinaBR included a screenshot of the MCU's incarnation of Spider-Man along with the tease. This could be hinting that the version who will appear in Fortnite eventually will be none other than the MCU version of the character.
With Fortnite Chapter 3 launching on December 7th and Spider-Man: No Way Home debuting in theaters only a week later, it's incredibly likely Spider-Man's arrival in Fortnite will coincide with the release of the new movie.
With a plethora of other superhero characters and specifically those of Marvel Comics already included in Fortnite, players have long anticipated being able to suit up as the iconic webslinger; so it's about time.
