The Sega Saturn's classic Panzer Dragoon was announced for the Nintendo Switch in June of last year. This is not a port of the original game, however, as it is a fully fledged remake that offers players the ultimate Panzer Dragoon experience; or so the developers promised.
Panzer Dragoon: Remake was finally released in March of this year, and it was very positively received by Nintendo Switch owners — even though, most people agreed that the game could run a little bit better on the handheld hybrid console; something that even the developers agreed on.
As it turns out, a massive update that would enhance the experience was revealed to release at a later day — which would see Panzer Dragoon: Remake getting gyro control and HD rumble support, and would finally be running at a stable 60 frames per second.
Today, Update Ver 1.3 for Panzer Dragoon: Remake has finally become available, and the developers have released a short gameplay trailer that lets players know everything that has been added to the remake of this all-time classic title; including a new Episode 0, Super Weapon Mode, and more!
Check it out:
On a far, lone planet, you encounter two dragons awaken from the ancient times. Armed with a deadly gun from the past, and the guidance of your armored blue dragon, you must fulfill your destiny and keep the Prototype Dragon from reaching the Tower or die trying.
Panzer Dragoon: Remake is currently available for the Nintendo Switch.
