Upon release, Rockstar Games' Red Dead Redemption 2 was met with overwhelmingly positive reviews that eventually led the Western adventure title to get several nominations by The Game Awards last year; needless to say, it was definitely one of the most talked-about games of 2018.

Red Dead Redemption 2 was not released for every platform, becoming only available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Rockstar Games, however, did reveal that the game would be launching on PC eventually, and so it did earlier this month.

Rockstar Games also revealed that their critically acclaimed Western-themed title would be releasing on Steam, and today we have some great news, as the developer has finally confirmed that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be launching on Steam next week; becoming available on Thursday the 5th of December

America, 1899. The end of the wild west era has begun as lawmen hunt down the last remaining outlaw gangs. Those who will not surrender or succumb are killed. After a robbery goes badly wrong in the western town of Blackwater, Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang are forced to flee.

Red Dead Redemption 2 will become available on Steam on the 5th of December.
