New Super Lucky's Tales was announced for the Nintendo Switch during this year's E3, surprising viewers due to the fact that this title used to be a Microsoft-exclusive game; likely as a result of Nintendo and Microsoft's great relationship they've built this past year.

The announcement came with a trailer for the game, which immediately made fans of the original game notice a few minor, although visible, differences about the game released for the Xbox One back in 2017, titled Super Lucky's Tales, and the new Nintendo Switch version.

Today, developer Playful has shared a new video for Super Lucky's Tales, which compares the Xbox One and PC's Super Lucky's Tales version to New Super Lucky's Tales on the Nintendo Switch — and there are actually quite a few differences to be seen; mainly Lucky's new running animation and the gorgeous new lighting effects, as well as some changes in the game's levels.

Check it out:

New Super Lucky's Tale is a vibrant 3D adventure platformer that follows Lucky, the ever optimistic and lovable hero, on a quest to find his inner strength and save the world. A vibrant, 3D adventure platformer with roots in genre classics, upgraded with best-in-class mechanics, built by and for platforming fans.

New Super Lucky's Tale will be available for the Nintendo Switch soon.
