Hideo Kojima got a lot of love at last night's Video Game Awards, and while he wasn't present at the event, filmmaker Guillermo del Toro (Pacific Rim) made an appearance in the game creator's new title Death Stranding. Taking to social media to congratulate Kojima on his new project, del Toro didn't hold back when it came to sharing his honest thoughts on former employer Konami. Here are his Tweets:

Del Toro has good reason to be mad at Konami, and it's not just because of how they treated Kojima. The director was hard at work on developing Silent Hills alongside the game creator and actor Norman Reedus before it was unceremoniously dumped by the publisher. That's a decision which upset fans of the franchise, especially as footage from it promised the first good Silent Hill game in many years.

After previously saying that their decision made "no f***ing sense at all," Del Toro followed that up last night with the following. It's apparent that he's not over it yet, and honestly, you can't blame him!
