Electronic Arts has just dropped the launch trailer for Respawn Entertainment's highly anticipated
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order; showing off some good old lightsaber gameplay — one of the game's main selling points — and revealing some vague plot points.
Don't get too excited just yet, however, since the launch trailer may have dropped today, but
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is not out for another two weeks; finally becoming available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on Friday the 15th of November.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will see players taking the role of Cal Kestis —— one of the few survivors of the Jedi Purge — who has been hiding from the Empire. Throughout the game, Cal will gain allies that will encourage him to make a stand against those who seek to hunt him down.
Pre-orders for the game are also currently available, although it would be best not to be tempted by the special offers the pre-order promises; while this is a Respawn game through and through, EA is still publishing, and fans know not to blindly trust them. It is still best to wait for the game's review embargo to be lifted.
With all that said, the launch trailer for
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is stil fantastic, and it does look like Star Wars fans will finally get the action-adventure game they've been clamouring for.
