Super Evil Mega Corp's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate is coming to PlayStation and Xbox. After debuting on Nintendo Switch last year, the roguline action game will head to PlayStation and Xbox consoles this summer.
The game will first arrive on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 as a digital release next month on May 20th. It will then come to Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S as a digital release on June 24th. A physical release is also planned for August with a Deluxe and Collector's Edition for Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch.
The physical Deluxe Edition will include the base game plus the Casey Jones and the Junkyard Jam DLC as well as reversible cover art, a foil pack of 10 collector's cards featuring TMNT heroes and villains, and access to one future, unannounced paid DLC. The Deluxe Edition is priced at $39.99.
The Collector's Edition will include all of the contents of the Deluxe Edition plus Mutant Ooze Green Tabletop Role-Playing Game Dice, NYC Sewer Manhole Cover Dice Box, 50-Page Art Book, TMNT: Splintered Fate Comic from IDW Publishing and more. The Collector's Edition will cost $99.99.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate debuted on iOS back in 2023 through Apple Arcade. The roguelike action adventure follows the crime-fighting Heroes in a Half-Shell through reality-bending portals to rescue their kidnapped master, Splinter. Players can take on the role of any of the crime-fighting Turtle brothers — Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo — each offering their own playstyle and unique powers.
The game blends intense, fast-paced hack-and-slash combat with roguelike elements. Procedurally generated levels including randomized room layouts, power-ups, and enemy encounters ensure each run is a unique experience with new challenges. As you progress through the game, you'll collect artifacts and resources that can be used to unlock permanent upgrades, enhancing each turtle's abilities and opening up new tactical options for subsequent runs.
When Splinter is kidnapped by Shredder, mysterious portals simultaneously appear across NYC. With April and Metalhead analysing recovered artifacts for clues, the Turtles battle to recover their father from the clutches of the Foot Clan. However, as the gang gets ever closer to Splinter’s otherworldly location, an even greater threat lingers in the shadows…
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate received generally favorable reviews for the Nintendo Switch. Most of the criticism was aimed at the bugs, presumably which have been fixed for Xbox and PlayStation.
