Star Wars fans were very excited when Aspyr revealed that the classic
Star Wars jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast was going to be re-released for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch; excitement that, for some players, faded once the game launched.
Upon releasing, fans immediately noticed that the
inverted aim feature in Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast had been completely removed — which is odd considering that it had been available in the original 2002 game.
Thankfully, Aspyr was listening to fans and their complaints about the lack of this essential feature, and they have recently announced that the issue will be fixed in a future update — which is expected to become available in the next couple of weeks.
Fans who may have been holding off on purchasing this port of
Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast can now rest assure that the issue will be fixed. Fans who have already purchased the game and realized there was no way to invert the Y axis — like myself — will only have to wait for a few more weeks. Regardless, this is definitely good news.
